It seems that each year, the cost of funding a higher education increases and as the importance of a college education continues to grow alongside this increased cost, parents and students are often forced to explore multiple financial aid options. Financial aid comes in two primary forms: federal financial aid and college scholarships and grants. The difference between the two is that federal financial aid comes in the form of loans which must be repaid while college scholarships and grants are funding does not need to be repaid. There are several scholarships available to college-bound students and their families that are worth exploring.

As you'll notice on this forum and other sources. There are so many different types of scholarships out there. Where????? Million dollar question right? Well , the answer really is right under your nose. I have been awarded a minimum of two per year since 2009 being the only year that I received two. I am no expert however, after applying semester after semester with no luck...thinks finally changed.
My approach changed. if you'd like current leads , fresh testimonials you can also check out showyouthemoney on FB or Showuthemoney on twitter.

So...where to find scholarships is to broad of a question. Start narrowing down by your degree path, GPA, Associations that you are a part of, your college website ( most don't advertise these) so you will have to dig a bit.

The above mentioned is just scratching the surface.

Feel free to ask me more questions through sites mentioned above.

To find grants and scholarships, the first thing you should do is fill out the Free application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA as soon as possible. The FAFSA is the application required for both need-based and merit-based federal grants including the Pell Grant, the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG), the Teach Grant, the Academic Competitiveness Grant and the National SMART Grant. Once you successfully submit a FAFSA, your eligibility for a Pell Grant is determined automatically. If you qualify for one you'll be notified. It doesn't matter how old you are; there is no age limit on Pell eligibility.

CATS colleges in London, Cambridge and Kent offer college scholarships which award up
to 20% tuition fees. Whether or not a student qualifies is different for
UK or international students. You should take a look here: catscollege.com/en/datesfees/scholarships/
