Types of Grants

My sister says that there are grants for homeowners, people who are married, new car owners, so forth and so on. Is that true? And if it is true where can I apply for them?

There are definitely a ton of different grants and scholarships out there. My best advice would be to simply search for them online. If you are looking for scholarships http://www.studentscholarshipsearch.com can help you out.

Yea, there are tons of grants out there I know a family member of mine is using the housing grant for purchasing a house. When it comes to cars, the car needs to be an environmentally friendly car I believe. Think Hybrids.

Skyland,

You are totally right that there are incentives for owning hybrid vehicles... check out http://www.hybridcars.com/federal-incentives.html for the most recent federal tax credits.

Also, check out http://www.studentscholarshipsearch.com/ for a crazy big database of scholarships & grants online. There's something for everyone in there.
