Hi,
So at the end of June I'll be getting married, and I've heard that poor newly married couples like what I will soon be can get lots of help with financial aid, and I was wondering what the best way to do that would be. Should I wait and apply straight after the wedding or are there things I need to be doing right now to get started? Neither my fiance or I have had any aid before, I'm a Freshman still and she's a Junior, but we've lived at home and I think our parents both make to much for us to qualify. But once we are out on our own will it make a difference on how much aid we can get? Also would it make a difference if we were to live at her parents place or found our own temporary place for the couple months before we go back to school in the fall. Just trying to get this figured out ahead of time so we can make some plans, any tips or advice for some soon to be newlyweds would be much appreciated, thanks!
