Can't afford to get my alternative teaching certification

Postby amber40swe » Fri Feb 12, 2010 10:56 pm

I recently graduated with my B.S. in criminal justice and my student loans total to about $2500.00............ I want to get my alternative teaching certification but it cost $3500.00. I can't add more to my student loan because I'm already stressed about making the payments on the $2500.00. Is there another way to pay for this? Fafsa won't consider me since I already have my Bachelors. I can't find a job in any field.
ANY ADVISE

If you are in school you can defer your previous loans until after you graduate and are making money. If you borrowed $3500.00 in private student loans that is really not that bad. It would bring your total student loan debt to $6000.00. Trust me, a lot of people graduate from college with well over $20,000 in debt! If you want to consider a private student loan here is a link to more information. http://www.privatestudentloans.com/
