References on MPN

Postby Jaystadpole1 » Sun Jul 25, 2010 5:14 pm

I am trying to complete the MPN for a Federal Direct Unsubsidized loan. It requires two references with 'different' addresses on line #7. At the same time it says one has to be a parent or legal guardian. My mother has to sign, but we have the same address. What do I do?

A grandparent would count in this circumstance I believe.

My mother is my parent and legal guardian. I used my grandparent for the second reference. ?????

What the MPN asks for is two references with different addresses, all that means is that Reference #1 and Reference #2 cannot share the same address. Feel free to use your mother as Reference #1
