Who is my loan servicer?

Postby mvsoeb » Mon Mar 18, 2013 2:11 pm

I wanted to know how I can find out who my loan servicer is and how I can contact them. I want to postpone my payments on my Stafford Subsidized loan because I am still in school as a half-time student. I have already reviewed what loans I have on the NSLDS, but I want unable to get specific information on them. The link "Click Here For Loan information" was not working on the NSLDS Financial Aid Review page. I want to contact my loan servicer as soon as possible because my loan payments will be due soon.

Within http://www.nslds.ed.gov/nslds_SA/ , you should be able to click the left hand side numbers for each loan and be brought to the page with the servicer's information. If this isn't working for you, you can call the Department of Education Directly at 800-433-3243.

For a list of servicers, visit StudentAid.ed.gov.
