I'm a bit confused as to how a college will use the information asked for in question SR-160A.
From the "Student's Expected Resources" section:
"Enter the amount your parents think they will be able to pay for your 2010-11 college expenses."
I've saved a lot, so based on ability, I 'could' pay everything. But I don't know what the expenses will be since my child has not yet chosen a school.
Would entering a high number rule me out for aid? I've already entered the cash/assests in the parent section.
Would entering a low number look out of place due to the cash/assests reported?
