Hi,

I have been approved for financial aid for the Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 semesters. I wanted to register for second session classes at my school in the fall, but I wasn't able to.

My question is, I am eligible for a $9500 a year Stafford Loan per year. I know this money is typically split into semesters, but since I will only be taking Spring 2013 classes, will I receive the entire $9500 check if I apply for all that I am eligible for, or will I only get half because I am only attending for one semester?

Stafford loans are disbursed per semester. If you are scheduled to receive an annual amount but only attend one semester, then only a half of the annual amount will be disbursed for that semester.
