so, i am planning on starting grad school in late october and leaving to do so in early october from the u.s. to the netherlands. that being said, i was denied the direct plus loan b/c of my credit (medical bills) and am about 3-6 thousands short in order to cover my first year. does anyone know if it is possible to get a loan for just tuition and then another personal loan of some sort for personal living expenses?! any and all advice will be appreciated?! the obvious solutions are not available; i.e.-a cosigner etc...
