Hello, it probably means that your school decreased the amount your were eligible to receive so instead of giving you the full 4k they gave you the $2136....so basically you may have been eligible for the full 4k but based on your tuition due and other aid you were receiving your school may have adjusted this amount (which they can do). If you want a definitive answer you would want to check with someone at the FAO and they can look up your account to see.
