Hi,
I got my degree back in my country & here it's not fully recognized. I just registered with the college & applied for FAFSA, but I was told that since I seek the same degree I do not qualifie for any help. I have a green card & 4.0 GPA. What can I do? I need help paying for the school. My work pays me back, after I get my grades, but until then I have to pay myself & I don't have that much money.

Thanks,
Transferstudent

Do you know if the degree you obtained from your country is comparable to a US bachelors degree? If the U.S. school tells you that it is not that may be your loop hole. If you have not secured your bachelors in the school's eyes you may be able to secure federal funds that way. What type of classes are you taking? Is it s certificate class?
