I went to community college last semester and now have transfered to a 4 year for the spring, as soon as I got accepted I changed my school code on November 14th(they said that I could have done it earlier but it wouldn't matter as they only process it after you are accepted). The financial aid person at the school told me that awards were be ready by the end of last week, the only one that showed up for me was a 500 dollar transfer scholarship which I am grateful for but obviously it is far below what I was looking for. They are closed until January 4th, so I can't call and see what is going on, my efc is 0 and had recieved pell grant funds last semester. I know the transfer scholarship is based on my gpa from transferring and has nothing to do with the fasfa, so I am assuming that they haven't figured out my rewards yet, is this assumption true? Should I be worried or shall I wait to see what happens?

You are correct. The scholarship is separate from what you would receive based on your FAFSA. Since you have a 0 EFC, you should be eligible for the Pell Grant even if you used some of it at the other school. Most likely, they have not processed your aid at this point. You should receive an award letter in time for next semeste that includes your Pell Grant information.
