Hello!

Does anyone know which credit bureau GRADPLUS uses?

I hope to starting a PhD program next Sept. so I will be applying for this loan in Jan.
So I am working on my credit! On ONE of the three reports, an account I had many years ago is shown as 'account transferred or claim purchased'.
This probably sounds like a silly question, but loans, credit...it's all 'greek' to me!
Will this be cause for being denied???

Unfortunately it is impossible to tell if one item will affect your chances of being approved for a loan until you actually apply. Fortunately they do look at your entire credit history to make sure you pay your bills on time, do not have too much debt, etc.
