No Federal School Code

Postby sheasbys » Thu Jan 10, 2013 6:05 am

Hi all,

I am a US citizen currently working on a project in South Africa. I am wanting to work on my Graduate studies at the South African Theological Seminary which is fully accredited in South Africa, is a member of the Council for higher Education International Quality Group and is well respected by many universities in the US. This is important to me as I plan to continue with Doctoral Studies at Oxford or Cambridge or even in the US.

However, they do not have a Federal School Code and the process to attain one is not something they are able to pursue at the moment. When I try to input information to Private Student Loans and other places they ask for the school but it is not listed, in fact it appears that they use the same list as is on the FAFSA.

Any advice on how to go about securing a student loan in this instance?

Thank you in advance,
