Currently I am cosigned on my sons unsubsidized loan and paying a large amount of interest on a monthly basis. Can I get this loan changed to a subsidized loan so that I do not have to make those interest payments on a monthly basis?

Unfortunately probably not. Subsidized loans are awarded based on financial need. If you son was not awarded a subsidized loan to begin with then you probably do not qualify.
