I am hoping one of the financial aid experts could give me their thoughts on something. I have recently posted a petition on the government's website asking for a policy change that would allow those with financial aid to repay their loans using pre-tax money. Essentially, this would work as a payroll deduction prior to assessing taxes. The full petition is here:

My question is one of hindsight. Is this even legally possible with tax laws and the current financial aid structure? Just curious.
