Do you think a college education is REALLY worth the price tag?
I would say its a no brainer if you are going to pursue an engineering or medical degree $$$.
But how about if you are going to study say...Anthropology...That may not pay out so well...
What do you think out there.. Any suggestions on how to make someone feel better about taking out years worth of loans????

Any degree is a good degree!

Nowadays you need a degree before most employers will even consider you for a job. A BA is this generations High School diploma. Now that said, take some free advice - FIND THE LEAST EXPENSIVE COLLEGE YOU CAN OBTAIN YOUR BA AT!!!!! Did you get that? Unless you're attending a prestigious university go to a state school people. Save yourself the headache of enormous student loan debt when you get out!!!!

So is it worth it? It depends on the cost, what the degree is in, and the earnings potential. Honestly, for some people it's not worth it at all. The best thing they could have done was NOT go to school.

Personally I went to a Community College and then transferred over to a state school. I was economical and practical! I earned my Slashing Knight title by slashing the cost of my tuition! I mean, look at that logo to the right. Would you mess with me? SLASH SLASH

ill have to agree with Slashing Knight. I was not as smart as him....I didn't put much thought into what school i attended. I basically picked it because I wanted to go to school in NYC. I ended up graduating with $30,000 in student loans....and I am barely using the degree I attained. Why do you think my name is Ms. Stafford? I took out so many Stafford loans that I actually refer to myself as Ms. Stafford. Which do you think is cooler? Ms. Stafford (snore)...or SLASHING KNIGHT....I mean for real, you tell me?
